BUENOS AIRES AND SANTIAGO DE CHILE, CANDIDATES TO HOST THE XIX PAN AMERICAN GAMES IN 2023
The Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) informs that the cities of Buenos Aires, Argentina and Santiago de Chile, Chile, submitted their Letters of Intent on time and form to be candidates to host the XIX Pan American Games in 2023.

Today, the Forum for Women Leaders in Sport in the Americas, organized by the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO), the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Peruvian Olympic Committee (POC), with the purpose of contributing to prepare the participants to occupy, in the immediate future, elected and management positions and/or to prepare other women to take part in their organization’s activities; as well as to promote women’s empowerment and gender equity.
The president of the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO), Dr. Julio Cesar Maglione, was reelected for one more term to head the Uruguayan Olympic Committee in elections held in Montevideo.
